DocuPacket — Document signing made simple

DOCUPACKET · BUSINESS SIGNING RESOURCES

Electronic signature software for business agreements

Docupacket gives businesses a way to prepare documents, request electronic signatures and follow the packet from send to completion. Support customer document workflows including service agreements, contractor documents and onboarding forms.

What the signing workflow includes

Start with a document you already use. Upload a PDF, add the people who need to sign, place the fields and preview the signer experience. Word upload availability and other advanced capabilities depend on the selected plan.

Recipients open the signing link from their invitation and complete their assigned fields. Your team can track packet and signer progress. Once the packet is fully complete, download its completed PDF and follow your business’s recordkeeping process.

Know the credit usage before sending

Docupacket shows the exact number of credits a packet will use before it is sent. One credit per packet. Unlimited files and pages on every plan. Upload limits: 20 MB per file and 100 MB per packet. Review the displayed total with the packet details before you confirm.

Sending holds the credit usage. Once at least one signer completes signing, those credits are consumed. If nobody completes signing and the packet is voided or expires, its held credits are released subject to their original expiration rules. Subscription fees are separate, and additional credits are not purchased automatically.

Match capabilities to operational requirements

Compare people who send documents, monthly included credits, page and file limits, and the additional-credit rate. If you repeat a workflow or send separate copies to many customers, also compare template and bulk-send availability.

On Standard, Standard Plus and Pro, unused included monthly credits roll over for 12 months from issuance. Individual’s included monthly credits do not roll over under this rule. The pricing page lists current plan details.

Electronic signatures and digital signatures

People sometimes use these terms interchangeably. In a technical comparison, a digital signature commonly refers to a certificate-based cryptographic mechanism, while electronic signature is the broader category. This page describes Docupacket’s electronic signing workflow; it does not promise certificate-based signing or a particular legal certification.

Docupacket provides encryption at rest and in transit, audit trails and data retention controls. Review how these features fit your document and recordkeeping requirements.

Compare the credit math for your service business

Start with the membership fee. Subtract the included usable allowance from the credits needed for your planned sends; multiply any remaining credits by the extra-credit price, then add that to the membership fee. A negative remainder means no extra credits are needed.

For example, if a plan costs $29 per month, includes 10 usable credits for one joined user and sells extras at $4, a workload costing 12 credits totals $37: $29 + (12 - 10) x $4. These are an illustration of Standard terms reviewed October 16, 2026; the live pricing page is authoritative. Additional joined users, discounts, existing credits and purchase minimums can change the result.

Compare that total with another provider using the same sender count, term and workload. Per-seat charges, unlimited-request packages and packet credits measure different things. Do not equate a packet with an envelope or signature request without checking both definitions.
