DocuPacket — Document signing made simple

YOUR FIRST PACKET

From upload to completed document.

Follow these seven steps at your own pace. This guide does not track completion or change your account. Links into the workspace require sign-in and the applicable plan.

  1. 1. Choose and activate your membership

Review the plan limits and renewal terms, verify your email, sign your membership agreement, and complete payment setup. If you have a promo code, enter it and review the discount before confirming.

    Compare plans
  2. 2. Prepare a small test document

Use a short PDF with fictional information for your first run. Supported Word uploads are converted to PDF; review the converted pages.

    Open My Files
  3. 3. Create a packet

Choose New packet, give it a recognizable name, and add your files. Each packet uses one credit, with unlimited files and pages. Upload up to 20 MB per file and 100 MB per packet.

    Create a packet
  4. 4. Add recipients and fields

Check recipient names and emails. Place signature, date and other required fields on the correct pages and assign each field to the correct signer. Review signing order when available.

    Open drafts
  5. 5. Review before sending

Confirm the documents, recipients, required fields and displayed credit cost. Sending a real packet reserves real credits. For a first test, use an email address you control.

    Check available credits
  6. 6. Sign and follow progress

Open the recipient invitation, complete the assigned fields and finish signing. The sender can check status in My Documents. A first completed signature consumes the held packet credits.

    Open My Documents
  7. 7. Download and organize

Once everyone has finished, open the completed packet and download its completed document. Use folders to organize work; administrators control Team folder access.

    Open completed packets
